“Forget the 1%”

Through this article “Forget the 1%”, The Economist refers to a paper by Emmanuel Saez and Gabriel Zucman making out an alarming observation about increasing inequality. They provide evidence that wealth is actually concentrated in the top 0.1% or even 0.01% of the US population rather than in the top 1%, raising concerns about the return to an “inheritance society” and a “patrimonial capitalism”, as pointed out by Thomas Piketty.
