Is growth really effective in inequality reduction?

Rupert Read exposes (Part 1 and of his OECD InsightBlog post) an anti-growth point of view on inequality, criticizing massively Thomas Piketty for his statement on the importance of growth in the reduction of inequalities. According to the author, there are significant limits to growth that will lead people in post-growth periods to demand for deeper redistribution for them and future generations.
