A comparison between US and Europe’s attitudes toward inequality

Judith Niehues points out a paradox : in the US where income inequality is high federal authorities do little to tackle the issue whereas in Europe redistributive policies are generous even if disparity is lower. Perception of inequality divers between the two continents, explaining the disparities in social policies.
