QE positive contribution to the widening income gap
In its valuable blog post, John Muellbauer points out some evidences of QE positive contribution to the widening income gap. This unconventional monetary measure, supposed to deal with the zero lower bound constraint, redirects money towards the wealthiest which propensity to consume is low. John Muellbauer highlights hints ECB could follow to compensate those effects and to adapt to Eurozone specific context.
