Good and bad inequality

Dani Rodrik provides food for thought in his Project Syndicate article about the equality/efficiency tradeoff well-discussed among economists. To him, the old mindset where equality impeded growth and the new one where inequality hinders economic development are both not absolute truth –it depends on the causes of inequality.
